How to Prevent Garden and Paving Destroyed

Underground plumbing leak detection- An electronic listening stick is used to magnify the noises made by the water flowing through and leaving the pipe. This allows the leak detection professional to evaluate whether or not you have a leak, as well as the potential extent of the leak, and to focus the search on a specific location.

Underground plumbing leak detection using Gas Injection Method

After the water main is switched off, tracer gas, a harmless gas composed of 95% nitrogen and 5% hydrogen, is injected at low pressure into the waterline. The gas forces the water back to the opening in the pipe where it escapes. The gas rises to the surface, and the leak detection professional detects it using the Sensistor 9012 XRS H2 detector, which is widely regarded as the best and most accurate leak detection equipment on the market.

Underground plumbing leak detection using Ground Microphones

Once the leak detection professional has located the tracer gas at the surface, a ground microphone is used to attempt to reach on top of the leak if it is a metal pipe, or within a meter or two if it is a plastic water pipe underneath. Metal pipes may be traced with a pipe finder, but plastic pipes are often untraceable.  (underground plumbing leak detection)

The amount of inquiries for water leak detection to monitor subterranean water pipelines has increased. Water delivery to cattle watering troughs, farm outbuildings or hosepipe points, and monitoring water pipelines connecting private dwellings and outbuildings such as greenhouses, garages, or swimming pools are all examples of applications.

Underground water leaks may lie unnoticed for months, if not years, and are both harmful to the environment and expensive if left unchecked for extended periods of time. Wrong ball valves or appliances such as automatic watering systems or swimming pool equipment, or anything needing a water supply that goes faulty, might wastewater.  (underground plumbing leak detection)

We have two methods, one to identify leaky pipework or wasted water caused by malfunctioning equipment such as tank ball valves, water pumps for water softeners, and so on, and the other to simply detect piping leaks. (underground plumbing leak detection)

The WLW method is based on flow and searches for odd water flow patterns or continual water flow, i.e. water that never stops flowing. The unit’s function is to monitor the flow of water leaving the source, raise an alert, and switch off the water if the flow exceeds customizable pre-set limits. Flow restrictions include excessive water volume, excessive water flow, and excessive water flow without a pause. (underground plumbing leak detection)

where overflow feeds into the storm drains. Indoor overflow (and wastes) feed into the sewage system
Leak detection. Pipeline leak detection is used to determine if and in some cases where a leak has occurred in systems that contain liquids and gases.

The second system is our WPLD alarm, which exclusively detects water seeping from pipes. This unit monitors the water flow at each end of the pipe and shuts off the water supply if the source water volume exceeds the pipes end water volume, for example, if the source water volume is 10 liters and the pipe end water volume is only four liters, we can assume a six-liter water leak from the connecting pipe.

Our underground plumbing leak detection system allows to:

  • Locate and locate leaks in a water network beneath paved and unpaved surfaces.
  • Avoid needless excavations.
  • Using specific additional tools, locate the leak at valves and hydrants, in tiny diameter water pipelines, and in difficult-to-reach spots.
  • Isolate the parasitic noise and concentrate on the possible leak sound.
